FCR-039 Style Clash - Lullaby is released

August 6th, 2008 by FeralCode

Style Clash is back to us with his new single, Lullaby, but don’t sleep on it. Lullaby is quite energetic, melodic, maybe a bit trance-ish track, which received a special Reprise (intro) edition and a remix from the progressive breaks mage, Retroid.

Early release on Beatport.

WATD remixes - some more news

August 6th, 2008 by FeralCode

The Santiago Deep remix received a great support on DjDownload, where the track is on the top100 for some time now, and not far to lead the label’s chart. If that is not enough, we have a little surprise for you.

And that is a small intro mix from Elfsong, which you can freely download from our player on the main page, the contest page, and more. The Elfsong Intro Mix is a nice ambient shortcut of his main mix and received a great support so far.

WATD remix contest - the results

June 29th, 2008 by FeralCode

Finally, we are happy to announce the winners of the WATD remix contest, organised by Deep Mariano & Guille Quero, ResonantVibes, friskyRadio and FeralCode Records. Two winners and a special label pick, who they are?

We received 45 remixes for the contest, and as always, it is hard to decide who the winners are. Creativity, originality, label’s profile are all counted. And we are happy to see two new artists among the winners.

First price - Santiago Deep: The ultimate winner of the contest is Santiago Deep from Chile, with a quite groovy tech remix. His remix amazed both Deep Mariano and Guille Quero, such as FeralCode, and certainly one of the most creative remix of the contest. Santiago’s remix will be released by FeralCode Records, with a royalty advance of 150 USD, and with a store credit of 150 USD from ResonantVibes.

Runner up - Alan Rios: The second prize goes to Alan Rios from Argentina, whose remix was picked by Deep Mariano and Guille Quero. Nice, deep, melodic remix with Argentin flavor, perfect for early hours or radio mixes. Alan’s remix will be released by FeralCode Records, with a royalty advance of 100 USD, and with a store credit of 100 USD from ResonantVibes.

Label pick - Elfsong: Our special winner is Krisztian Kertesz, Elfsong, also known as Style Clash, and his deep, emotional, melodic progressive house remix. Krisztian is not new to the label, and with his entry he proved again his creativity. As the label’s pick, his remix will also be released, together with Santiago Deep and Alan Rios.

Congratulations for the three artists, who are the lucky winners. Some others to mention, whose remixes could also easily win: Cave Sedem & Daesmith, Dave Ferol & The Stain, LOM, Zack Roth, Mateo Gonzales, DU, Jayo… maybe next time.

Deep Mariano top 3:

1. Santiago Deep
2. Alan Rios
3. LOM

Guille Quero top 3:

1. Santiago Deep
2. Alan Rios
3. Zack Roth

FeralCode top 3:

1. Elfsong
2. Santiago Deep
3. Dave Ferol & The Stain

The winner remixes will be released pretty soon (they are under mastering), such as some of the hottest non-winner remixes will be available also as free download from the site. Feel free to promote and play your non-winning remix (and share us any feedback you receive).

Thanks again, Cheers, FeralCode

FCR-037 Ned Hobbs - Substance / Series (FeralCode Remix)

June 29th, 2008 by FeralCode

Spot on Ned Hobbs and Reflections 2, last time, we are happy to show you two soft melodic progressive house tracks with plenty of emotions. Ned is back to us with his brand new track, Substance, and Series got a remix from FeralCode.

Huge pads, nice melodies, just like a summer breeze, early release on Beatport.

“I think this is one of the best work I heard from the label. FeralCode remix is absolutly incredible, beginning with techy beats and a cool looped vocal, ending in a dreamy progressive monster.” - Ray McPhoney

“Thanks for this release, the original is really nice. Full support from me.” - Marcelo Vasami

“Both tracks offer something unique. I like Ned’s versatility, it’s a true sign of a musician. Of the two, I think I would be more likely to support Series (Feralcode Remix). Good upbeat energy and very dancefloor friendly. Substance is very beautiful and melodic and would be more fitting for radio play.” - Darin Epsilon

“My favourite track is the FeralCode remix of Series. Cool atmospheric stuff, lovely vibe!” - The Mystic Force

As always, you can hear / preview the tracks full length in our Releases page.
